Ashim Industries is a family company with a success story.
Our journey started 50 years ago as a lumbar and nail industry in the district of Saramacca. One of our first expansions was the start of the well known M. Ashim zincorrugating factory located at Calcuttastraat.
Over the years our company has always been always working on progression and further expansion .This high level of flexibility, combined with comprehensive know-how and distinct innovative drive are what makes us who we are today.
We develop successful products and set a long-term trend for today and tomorrow.
How it started

These are the words of our founder Mr. Ashim till this date.
It has always been his wish and goal to produce as many products locally instead of importing them.
As he was sitting at the riverside and seeing many large ships with watertanks sailing into our harbor, his main question was: why are we importing a product which we can produce ourselves? And from that point on our journey for further expansion started.
A question became an idea , an idea became a plan and with enough research the plan became reality in 2015 where he started with our M. Ashim watertank line.
